Every site can hold floor plans — the architect’s drawing turned into a live canvas where rooms are detected, assets are pinned to their real location, and issues can deep-link to the room they sit in. Open a property → Floor Plans, or drop a plan PDF/DWG onto the app and let document intake file it.

What you get

  • Auto room detection from PDF, DXF or DWG — geometry is reconstructed on Proprietas infrastructure (no LLM required for the plan itself)
  • 2D and 3D views of the same plan, with a compare slider against the original drawing
  • Asset pins — place plant and equipment on the room where it actually lives
  • Drawn rooms — rectangle, freeform path or ellipse when the extract needs a hand edit
  • Multi-floor buildings: step between floors with [ / ]

Using the viewer

The complete key list lives under Keyboard shortcuts → Floor plans.

Why it matters

A certificate or work order that only names “boiler plant room” is hard to hand to a contractor at 7am. A pin on the actual plan — with the room label the extract pulled from the drawing — is unambiguous. Fault history on an asset stays tied to where the kit is, not a free-text note.
